California-based Trimble has announced the acquisition of 3LOG Systems, Inc., a leading supplier of timber management software solutions headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. According to a press release from Trimble, the acquisition complements its forestry business software portfolio and further expands the Trimble Connected Forest™ solutions.
Trimble’s Connected Forest solutions manage the full raw materials lifecycle of planning, planting, growing, harvesting, transporting and processing finished wood products.

3LOG Systems has more than 500 installations and provides business software for timber management, wood product and bio-energy companies in North America. Its customers include forest owners and timberland managers; pulp and paper, softwood, hardwood, pellet, and OSB/plywood mills; and biomass facilities.
