A new mill and two re-worked classics are on the lineup for the 2011 sawing season
Wood-Mizer Products, an industry leader in portable and industrial sawmills, recently unveiled three new additions to the 2011 product lineup.
The first product is its LT15GO which takes one of Wood-Mizer’s most popular sawmill models, the LT15, and adds a trailer package. This addition allows for the mill to become truly portable and can be operated while it remains on the trailer package giving customers greater flexibility when it comes to setup and sawing locations. The trailer portion of the LT15GO can also be retrofitted to LT15 models manufactured from 2004 to present.
The LT35HD is a new portable sawmill complete with hydraulic log handling and features fast and easy joystick head controls, variable cutting speed adjustment, hinged blade covers, and a 21’ standard cutting length. This is the first y year for the LT35HD model and it is being offered at an introductory price under $20,000.
Additionally, Wood-Mizer is intro introducing the LT70DCS which takes Wood-Mizer’s highest producing mill, the LT70, and adds a moveable joystick command control which operates all head and bed functions from any point within 10 feet around the sawmill. This new operator station offers the sawyer intuitive joystick controls for increased flexibility and precision. The LT70DCS also features a large, easy to read display screen with built-in diagnostics.
“Adding these mills to our lineup is a huge benefit to our customers, because each and every sawyer has a specific sawing need. By adding the LT15GO, the LT35HD, and the LT70DCS, we have a better opportunity to accommodate those needs,” said Dave Mann, North American Sales Manager.
All three mills are available for purchase immediately and are included in the Mills to the Max promotion until December 31, 2010. These mills can be viewed at select shows, at branch locations throughout the United States, or by appointment at the Wood-Mizer corporate headquarters in Indianapolis, Ind. in the 17,000 square foot Steve Clark Showroom.
