Wood Beaver promotes that its new firewood processor makes one to two cords per hour. It processes logs up to 18 inches in diameter and up to 20 feet long. It splits wood into lengths from 12 inches to 24 inches. Its splitter cycle time is a very fast 3.8 seconds.
The Model 18 features include: 2-strand live deck 2080 roller chain, mill grade infeed belt, Honda GX-690 engine, Hydraulic Saw 16H/18H 404 harvester bar & chain, cleanout grate, radial stacking conveyor, tool box, operator’s platform, sawdust cleanout chute, and protective lockout covers. It has a 2-way to 4-way quick interchangeable wedge system. All functions of the new Model 18 are electric over hydraulic, joystick-controlled.
Options include: 6-way and 8-way wedges, cab with heat/air, 40hp Kubota diesel engine, 3-stand live deck, and 20-foot/25-foot/30-foot stacking conveyor.
