Timberline DL3800 Offers High Production Delimbing
The Timberline DL3800 uses Timberline’s purpose-built ‘from-the-ground-up’ technology, blending horsepower and hydraulic output for high production delimbing. It incorporates a side discharge chute for the added advantage of short wood delimbing as well as long wood decking.
The Timberline DL3800 comes standard with a 215 hp or optional 240 hp Cummins diesel engine. It has the strength and power to handle tough hardwood jobs at top speed. Optional feed rollers produce speeds that rival processor heads while delivering steady production and purpose-built reliability. Computerized measuring also ensures high productivity.
The Timberline DL3800 features Timberline’s innovative internal hose reel for smoother, more efficient boom motion. The internal hose reel eliminates messy external cables and hoses.
The Timberline DL3800’s leveling capability provides more opportunity to delimb at the stump without losing swing power when working on slopes.
The Oldenburg Group, a world class, ISO 9001 certified company, also manufactures mining and marine defense equipment.

Bandit Offers New Tool for Excavators
Bandit Industries has developed a new excavator attachment designed to break down stumps and over-size logs into smaller, more manageable pieces that can be processed more efficiently with wood waste reduction equipment.
The new Bandit Megabyte attachment also may be used as a stump puller and will split stumps that are still in the ground, eliminating the need to excavate around the stump in order to remove it.
The Bandit design of the pivoting shear allows equal and full pressure to be put directly opposite the Megabyte shear and claw. Full splitting and cutting power is present through all phases of the cut.
The Bandit Megabyte attachment can cut through or split just about any piece of wood and can split or cut most logs across the grain, according to Bandit. With its 9 foot, 2-inch opening, the Megabyte can split logs of almost any length, both horizontally and perpendicularly.
The Megabyte is equipped with a shear knife tip, front knife surface and teeth that all are replaceable. A universal mounting system makes it easy to attach the Megabyte while eliminating the need to modify the boom.
