Companies to Jointly Manufacture Patented ‘Clamp and Scan’ System.
Cornell Industrial Corp. and LandEast Manufacturing have reached an agreement to jointly manufacture the existing patented ‘Clamp and Scan’ Edger Optimizer System.
The two companies will team to produce a state-of-the-art edger optimizer system that is capable of processing about 20 boards per minute in hardwood applications.
“Our intent is to provide the industry with a financially acceptable solution to a potentially cost-prohibitive problem: how to add edger optimization to the mill in order to improve yield and profits,” Cornell said in a statement.
